Dude ... where are you from? We had a Caldor in Weymouth MA, but I think it may have come in post-CF&TBDC. My high school age sister let me go the South Shore Plaza with her and her friends, and I paid full retail for it at a department store - not even a record store! Then I had to hang around the mall for several excruciating hours before I could play it

Very nice town, and home of the world famous heart study. Several extended family members went to school there, and I once saw Robert Palmer in what was basically a gymnasium on campus - I bet you saw lots of things there. His band was too loud, but he's the best rock singer I've ever seen who wasn't Freddy Mercury.
